David Peace is GQ Writer of the Year

Included among GQ's recipients of Men of the Year Awards 2007 were Kanye West (International Man of the Year), Michael Caine (Lifetime Achievement) - and none other than David Peace.
The awards were handed out on the 4th September 2007 at a glitzy ceremony at the Royal Opera House, London.
Peace has published four books with Serpent's Tail. Collectively known as the Red Riding Quartet, they conjure a dark vision of a Yorkshire shaken by the terror inflicted by the Ripper murders of the late '70s / early '80s.
Peace has previously been honoured with inclusion as one of Granta's Top British Writers of the 1990s.
