The television film of Jonathan Trigell's award-winning novel is nominated for seven awards at the 2008 British Academy of Film and Television Awards.
The nominations include a mention for Andrew Garfield in the Best Actor category for his affecting performance as Jack, and a nomination for the film itself in the Best Single Drama category.
The winners are announced at a gala ceremony at the London Palladium on Sunday 20th April.
